aside from making our breasts the focal point - i think the reason why we all did it was because it's compositionally pleasing, it creates a symmetry thus pleasant to the eye. If we were to place it somewhere else...like at the bottom side of our jumpers, it would disturb the kind of visual balance that could only be achieved if the badge was placed slap bang in the middle of our chests. That's of course unless you want to put it slap bam at the centre of your forhead - but I'm sure that would be by far much more weird.
LOL thanks for that, it's always good to get an artistical person's opinion. 'Cause people usually put their badges it on their collars or choose a side on their chest. so i thought 'hmm I wonder who started this and why?'
