Tried to keep this as authentic as possible as per Michelle's request. So one year we had to write this forensic science story for Science if you guys remember. And recently I was cleaning out some of my old things and found this draft of it. Please feel free to laugh at my year 9 lameness and the plot holes and jumping to conclusions and bad writing. So this point forward...

Crime Story
The Case of the Missing Boy

'911 how may I help you?' The operator says into the phone.
'He-He's not here. We've been searching for hours,' the traumatized girl on the other line says.
'Slow down Honey. What's your name?"
'Sarah, Sarah McGee. P-Please you've got to help me. It's George, he was just there and now h-he's not. I think someone's kidnapped him.'

Location: Detective's Office
'What's up Chief?' The man asks as he puts down the newspaper he was reading and his cup of coffee. The Chief, a fat bald guy in suspenders frowns.
'We've got a kid missing. George Hamilton. Male, age 8. The babysitter supervising called 911. Last time he was seen was at his birthday party, right before they were about to start a game of Dead Fish,' the chief says.
'Who plays Dead Fish at birthday parties anymore?'
'Apparently this kid does, and it looks like he might have won.'
'Corny is on the case,' says the man who we now know is named Corny.

Location: George Hamilton's House
Corny knocks on the door. The door opens and behind it is a man and woman, both of them have blotchy eyes from crying.
'I'm detective Corny Hopkins.' I came here as fast as I could,' says Corny as he shows his badge.
'Oh thank god you're here! Please, come in,' says the man.
Detective Corny puts on gloves and a face mask and then steps into the Hamiltion's large home.
'A boy from the party said they saw George go into his room to get something while everyone was playing Dead Fish,' says Mr Hamilton. Corny walks into George's room. The first thing he searches for is fingerprints. He dusts up and down and finds a thumbprint on a photo-frame containing a photo of Mrs Hamilton holding a baby George with another fingerprint at the back.
The kidnapper must have picked the photo frame up. Corny thinks to himself. He gets a bit of sticky tape to collect the fingerprints. Corny observes the broken window in George's room and notices a small piece of fabric flapping from it. He picks up the piece of fabric with tweezers and seals it in a bag. He searches for clues and finds an unusual green stain on the carpet, which he cuts out from the carpet. He also finds blood outside the window and a hankerchief lying on the ground.

He then questions Mr and Mrs Hamilton.
'Did your son have any enemies or know anyone who might have wanted to kidnap your child?' says Corny and gets out a pad and paper.
'He's only 8 years old. How could he have any enemies?' says Mr Hamilton
'Yes I know but I still have to ask.'
'Well, besides everyone at his school who is jealous of his wealth, there's the baby sitter who sometimes loses his temper on him...but other than that I don't know who else would want to kidnap my poor boy.' she says. Mrs Hamilton looks as if she is about to say something but then stops herself.
'Is there something you want to tell me Mrs Hamilton?' says Corny when he notices this
'Err..No. Nothing at all,' she says a little too quickly.
Corny raises his eyebrow and then leaves.
